APELC Class Notes

Objectives: APELCers 1) processed a dramatic speech, and 2) wrote a rhetorical analysis.

Third juniors and seniors, we quickly went through the text processing protocol today with a piece courtesy of Bill Shakespeare. I’d have liked to have spent more time on it, but the timed-writing loomed. I’ll have your papers back to you Thursday, when we’ll talk about the revision process.

One day next week I’ll set aside some time to just review the material and concepts we’ve covered in the brief time we’ve been together. I’ve presented you with a lot of new ideas, things you might not have expected to cover in an English class, but that I feel will enhance your understanding of the tasks to come. I know you must have questions that need clarification, so please review your notes carefully and start your list of questions.
